Make Confidence Your Middle Name: Three Speedy Self-Worth Exercises
Can you imagine a life where you feel great regardless of your circumstances or other people’s opinions of you?
Now that life can be your life!
Insecurities come from not feeling “secure within.”
When you feel secure and safe inside you, that “You Are Enough” and loved by you, just because you exist, your insecurities fade away—your self-worth is revealed, your self-esteem rises, confidence becomes your middle name and self-love is natural for you and guides your every word and action.
You become all of you, you are authentic and real, and your life becomes magical—because you reclaim your personal power and are connected to your soul essence—so even in the moments when you might judge situations in your life as difficult you can now master your emotions, and manage your feelings. The result is unwavering faith, acceptance and contentment, and no more self-sabotage, bad habits or hurt relationships.
In one word, you feel “great!”
Through my new book “You Are Enough” I help people feel their value and fulfillment from within, and not seek validation from outside of themselves, this alleviates the emotional pain of any insecurities he or she may feel, it helps them get out of their own way, and sets them free to be successful in every area of their life!
I do this by bringing readers on a journey through 30 mini mantras and companion flower mandalas which I photographed using mobile photography (a new art movement which focuses on formal phone-based photography) together they are energetic transformers and I call them “one-minute miracles for busy people” since they provide an accelerated tool for empowerment.
My book “You Are Enough” is an inspirational and uplifting guide that helps readers learn to enact brief, daily routines as a self-realization tool that helps them build a positive self-image.
Yet, here are some other fast and easy exercises that I created for you to jumpstart your self-worth, self-esteem and confidence:
1) Write Yourself Love Notes: A method that works extremely well, takes seconds to do yet has far-reaching impact, is to send yourself daily emails with loving subject lines—that help you appreciate yourself and have gratitude for you.
When you see these love notes in your inbox you will feel uplifted! Use endearments that make me feel loved, I’m sure you have some you prefer, for example “Hi Sweetie! Keep Up The Great Work, You Are The Best!”
These “Email Love Notes” are especially great to send to yourself before you go to sleep at night, so you feel the self-love while you are typing them and then you feel the self-worth when you receive them in your email inbox in the morning.
2) Give To Others: When you are of service to others your attention is off of yourself away from ego and the thoughts of your mind and instead your focus is in your heart.
Your heart-centered actions towards others increases your feelings of self-worth because giving increases gratitude for you as the giver and also you as the receiver when you witness yourself giving to others—I call it the “Gifting Circle”—giving and receiving take place simultaneously.
You also experience the feeling of unity and being connected as “One” to your Source (or whichever name you use such as God/Goddess), Universe, and the creatures of the world which enhances your feelings of self-worth rapidly.
3) Each Moment Is A New Beginning: Life is a gift and when you experience each moment as a new beginning it allows you to be in the moment and to treasure yourself—"Being" in the “Now” lets you experience each moment as new, as a fresh start, and you feel ‘alive’ in the present—not thinking about the past or future gives lets you experience the truth of timelessness and your natural state which is love, joy, and freedom, a huge self-worth reminder that you are worthy just because you exist.
